Harry Reid International Airport Terminals
The airport features two main terminal buildings: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Both have various gate areas. They aren’t physically connected, so we recommend checking ahead which terminal you’re using to avoid shuttle rides between terminals.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is the main domestic terminal, operating flights from A, B, C, and D gates. It houses check-in and arrivals on the lower level, with ground transportation services between the two areas. The Terminal 1 Esplanade on the upper level features a food court, shops, security checkpoints, and the airport tram station. Terminal 1 boasts four gate departure areas with various shops, food outlets, and comfortable seating nearby.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3, on the other hand, serves both international and domestic flights, hosting flights from D and E gates. Arrivals are on the ground level with baggage claim carousels, an airport tram station, ground transportation services, and TSA’s innovation security checkpoint. The upper level consists of the departures area with ticketing desks and a security checkpoint leading to the E gate departure area.
Traveling Between Terminals
A coordinated network of automated people movers facilitates traveling between terminals and gates in Las Vegas’ Airport. These include the Green Line, Blue Line, and Red Line, each tram connecting different parts of the airport.
Green Line
Established in 1985, the Green Line links Terminal 1 with the C Gate Concourse, predominantly serving Southwest Airlines. It consists of two parallel quarter-mile tracks, each with two-car trains shuttling between the two stations.
Blue Line
The Blue Line is the longest of the three lines, connecting Terminal 1 with the satellite D Gate Concourse. Like the Green Line, the Blue Line consists of parallel tracks with trains shuttling back and forth between two stations.
Red Line
The Red Line connects the D Gates Concourse with Terminal 3. Like the other two lines, the Red Line comprises two tracks, each with a three-car train shuttling back and forth between the two stations.
Airport Shuttle Bus
The airport shuttle bus service is a reliable option for those who prefer ground transportation. These buses operate every 20 to 30 minutes to transport passengers between terminals and run outside the secure area.
